WHY MODINE

Four reasons contractors keep coming back to it.

A simple product that’s hard to get wrong. Modine has been one of the best in the category for decades.

Modine Hot Dawg unit heater

Fast to hang.

Hot Dawg installs 1" from the ceiling with two angle brackets (sizes 30 to 75). PTP ships with an external junction box, on/off switch, and status light, so wiring is quick.

Lights every time.

Direct spark ignition with continuous retry. If it doesn’t light on the first try, it keeps trying until it does.

Aluminized steel heat exchanger tubes

Built to last.

Aluminized steel heat exchanger and a baked-on powder coat finish. Hot Dawg carries a full 10-year warranty on the heat exchanger.

Quiet in the space.

Fans built for quiet running, with in-shot burners that stay quiet on ignition and shutoff.

Pick it by the BTU.

Two lines, 12 sizes, one shelf. Match the output to the heat loss of the space and you’re done.

SINCE 1916

The company that invented the category.

Arthur B. Modine started his company in Racine, Wisconsin in 1916. He went on to invent and patent the lightweight suspended unit heater, the design that heats shops and warehouses across North America today. Modine is still based in Racine and is one of the leading heating and ventilation manufacturers in North America.
